Neuvik Solutions (“Neuvik”), a cybersecurity services company, announced today the hiring of its new Director of Advanced Assessments in Europe, Jean-François Maes.
A certified SANS instructor, Maes has previously served as a security researcher at Fortra (formerly Help Systems), guiding the Cobalt-Strike team with developing new features and engaging with the community. He was the Red Team Technical Lead for NVISO and conducted penetration testing for TrustedSec. As Neuvik’s Director of Advanced Assessments in Europe, Maes will deliver his extensive knowledge in offensive security to Neuvik’s European clients through leading security assessments while overseeing the company’s planned growth in the EU.
"We are thrilled for Jean to lead Neuvik’s long-awaited expansion into the European Union. His proven track record and his blend of technology and strategy support our mission to provide clients with confidence in their cybersecurity,” said Ryan Leirvik, CEO of Neuvik.
Having extensively worked with Neuvik’s Dave Mayer and Moses Frost in the past, Maes likewise expressed his full confidence endorsing the capability of the team to spearhead Neuvik’s mission of delivering exceptional cybersecurity services to Europe.
“As a consultant primarily immersed in offensive security endeavors, I have had the privilege of serving numerous organizations predominantly based in the United States,” said Maes of his new role. “With Neuvik, I am enthusiastic and confident that we can seamlessly extend the same caliber of assessments that have become synonymous with our name in the United States to the European landscape.”
The appointment of Maes to Director of Advanced Assessments in Europe is part of Neuvik’s planned expansion of its comprehensive offerings to the EU. The company’s holistic approach to cybersecurity brings complementary skillsets together across disciplines, providing advanced assessments, skill-based training, and cyber risk management services.
“It’s a truly dynamic blend that uniquely positions us to adeptly navigate the intricacies of even the most challenging and multifaceted environments,” Maes said of Neuvik’s approach. “This distinctive combination of talents sets the stage for Neuvik to make a resounding impact in the European cybersecurity landscape.”
